The perfect fit is the final step in creating your perfect wedding day look! All of our alterations are completed in our salons – no traveling and no unfamiliar faces!

You will work with one of our premiere seamstresses through all your fittings!

Our Alterations Packages:

Bridal Alterations: Includes 3 fittings, hem*, cups, bustle (up to 3 points), taking in or letting out seams and removing crinoline, & shortening straps. Following your final fitting, we will expertly press and pack your gown for pick-up!

Bridesmaid Alterations: Includes 2 fittings, hem, cups, seams in/out, shortening of straps, pressing and packing!

Evening Gowns/ Mother of Alterations: Includes two fittings, hem*, cups, bustle (up to 3 points), seams in/out*, remove crinoline, shorten straps, pressing and packing!

Additional Services:

Add boning, buttons, crinoline, extra cups, panel, bead work, bustle, ballroom bustle, cleaning & preservation, custom straps, hem work (Lace or Ballgown), modify neckline, monogramming, raise or lower waistline, remove/add train, seams in/out (lace or beaded bodice), sew-in belt, & more!

We offer alterations packages for all of our customers from bridal, to bridesmaids, and mother-of.

We also offer alterations for dresses purchased outside of Elizabeth Johns. Please contact your nearest salon for pricing information.

Heirloom Alterations Service

Some gowns carry more than just fabric, they carry history. Our heirloom alterations service is designed for brides who want to honor that history by reimagining a family gown into something that feels entirely their own. Our in-house alterations team and Alterations Manager have the expertise to thoughtfully assess and transform a mother's wedding dress or a vintage piece, preserving what makes it special while updating it to reflect the bride wearing it today.
