-How long have you been in bridal.

I entered the bridal market over 3 years ago after having worked several years in fashion. It is a marriage of all my passions...fashion, weddings, events and sales.

-Who is your ideal bride as in style, venue, etc (think the perfect client)

My ideal bride is the one who comes in open minded. I love when she has one idea of what she wants but then taps into a "wild card" and is suddenly, and unexpectedly, affected. To watch that moment of connection happen, it is magical.

-What are some things past brides have said about you/your style and/or complimented you on.

I would defer to these favorite reviews for both brides and evening/moms/bridesmaids.

I think having patience, open communication, being knowledgeable about the product and the history of the designer and creating a relationship allowing the bride to trust me. From the prequal to the follow up, I like to go the extra mile for them and am accessible at all times. I hope to take the "worry away and give them a stress-free experience" and guide them with fun and excitement.

I can't possibly pick one favorite!! Every gown has a bride out there waiting for her...

-What's your favorite part about this job?

THE MOMENT....watching a bride connect with a gown and to see her vision come to life and her feeling her very best is the most rewarding part for me. Those who have worked with me know, when I see that happen, the goosebumps arrive!

How long have you been in bridal.

About 20 years now! I started in bridal when I was about 13 years old. My Aunt had bridal and tuxedo stores, and she took me everywhere with her and I can’t imagine working in any other industry!

-Who is your ideal bride as in style, venue, etc (think the perfect client)

I love Classic bridal styles with touches of modern, alluring details in a beautiful grand ballroom where you can dance the night away.
I love when a bride is open to special accessories, like a crown or hairpiece and considers her whole look for each bridal event. Those little pieces become heirloom that tell your love story, remind you of your wedding day and can be passed along so your love story lives forever though your loved ones.

-What are some things past brides have said about you/your style and/or complimented you on.

I am patient stylist that prefers to guide rather than push because it’s important to me for my brides to find the dress they love and feel great in.

-What makes you a good consultant?

This is a very special shopping experience, and I want it to be comfortable and fun! I want to establish a nice connection they are comfortable and feel they can trust me. I want to help them find the gown that makes their heart flutter, and it’s okay to take your time to consider your options before saying “yes”, but I also remind all of my brides to not overthink this decision, but to go with their heart.

-What's your favorite dress or designer we carry at EJs (or both).

That is a tough one! I love so many, but my favorite designer is Anne Barge. One of my favorite gowns is Sixoneseven - I love the lace, construction, the silhouette and it’s timeless.

-What's your favorite part about this job?

I love getting to know my brides and being a part of really special moments, like when they say yes, or when they put on their family heirloom veil with the gown, they just found to marry their best friend, it’s little moments like that are never forgotten and they are cherished forever. Thats not something you can find at most jobs.
