Bridal Market Fall 2019 Trends

Our buying team had an incredible time at NY Bridal Market this year, seeing the latest trends and gowns from our favorite designers! Here’s some of the key trends we loved from Fall 2019 Market:

Spaghetti Straps

The 90s are back! Delicate spaghetti strap dresses are making a comeback, giving a great option to strapless and highlighting the collar bone and shoulder area. We saw this trend at (in order of photos) Amsale, Liancarlo, Hayley Paige, Anne Barge, & Mira Zwillinger

Cold Shoulder

Off the Shoulder dresses are here to stay! Showing off your neckline is simple and sexy, and gives you the opportunity to play with hair and jewelry. We saw this trend with both a fixed, and removable option from designers – for when you want to throw your hands up and dance the night away! Mira Zwillinger, Amsale, Liancarlo, Anne Barge, & Hayley Paige all showed gorgeous dresses with this trend.

Capes & Overskirts

How about a cape instead of a veil? Or if you can’t decide between a voluminous dress or a sheath, have it all with an overskirt. This popular trend allows you to remove the overskirt when you are ready, revealing a slimmer silhouette. A cape is a fun take on a veil – adding that extra piece of tulle without having to worry about placement or your hair! These trends were on display at Reem Acra (who also had fun mixing in lots of color), Romona Keveza, & Mira Zwillinger.
